The first event, which brought together kit from the likes of Morgana, Konica Minolta and Vivid Laminating Technologies, took place in Leeds in February and was hailed a success by Morgana marketing manager Wendy Baker. A second event took place at the RAF Museum, London in May.
Exhibitors at the third event in the series, which will take place at Glasgow’s Hampden Park on 19 and 20 September, will also include EFI and Konica Minolta partner and software provider Objectif Lune, along with a soon to be announced paper supplier.
Baker said: “We hope this will turn out successfully, we haven’t done a show in Scotland for a number of years so we felt that it was time we revisited.
“It’s a great venue and the idea is that with Konica Minolta and Vivid we can show some different applications, to try and encourage people to come along.”
Equipment on show will include Morgana’s Valiani flatbed cutter, along with a full range of creasers and folders and the Konica Minolta AccurioPress C2060L. Visitors registering before 11 September will receive a gift box of whiskey miniatures at the event, with the packaging printed on the C2060L, laminated and foiled on a Vivid Matrix and cut and creased using a Valiani.
Other kit on show will include Konica Minolta’s bizhub Press C1100 and bizhub Press C71hc, along with Vivid’s MX-370P, MX-370DP and MX-530P laminating and foiling systems and an Easycoat gluing system.
The next Print 2 Finish event will take place at the AJ Bell stadium in Salford on 15 and 16 November.
“We’ve been there before and it works well for us. We had a show there about 18 months ago and we had a really good couple of days,” added Baker.
