Post Script: From Arctic pursuits to a life much less hirsute

Regular readers of Post Script would be forgiven for thinking that Simon Biltcliffe, managing director of print management business Webmart, had morphed into a full-time fundraising machine.

Just weeks after completing the Polar Circle Marathon in aid of the Starlight Children’s Foundation in a cool five hours and 53 minutes (PrintWeek 5/11), Simon is at it again.

This time, though, it’s personal. In order to raise even more funds for the children’s charity, Simon agreed to have his beloved beard taken clean off his face by shaving products company King of Shaves. And, just in case there are any sceptics reading, we’ve printed the picture above to prove it.

So how about it? In the run-up to Christmas, Post Script is encouraging readers to undergo similar ordeals to raise money for equally good causes. We look forward to seeing the results.
