Law steps into the role after working on the company’s sales team since 2009 and will continue to oversee a client list that includes Haribo U.K, JCT 600, Yorkshire Wildlife Trust, Leeds Grand Theatre and Yorkshire Housing.
Before joining the £3.2m-turnover company, which is celebrating its 25th year in business, Law worked at Robert Horne as part of the sales team after spending 15 years with Leeds paper merchants Rothera & Brereton.
His promotion follows a busy start to the year for the company, which employs 29 staff at its 1,672sqm site, after former production director Mark Plummer was promoted to the role of managing director in January.
This was swiftly followed last month by the delivery of a new £750,000 four-colour Komori Lithrone S429 H-UV press.
Law said: “The investment in people and in technology that Platinum has made over the years is second to none and the recent arrival of the Komori Lithrone HUV press, the first one of its kind in the UK, puts us absolutely at the forefront of the print industry in the UK.”
