The company has installed a Xeikon 3030 press, along with a multi-function offline Digicon finishing station capable of providing hot and cold foiling, varnishing and lamination.
PeterLynn has placed the new kit in a 570m2 business unit next to its existing site of the same size on the Willowbrook North Industrial Estate.
The company, which was formed in 1985, employs 15 staff and counts BT, Thomson Reuters and RNIB among its customers.
Sales and marketing manager Vicky Waine said PeterLynn was targeting turnover of £2m in the next 12 months. "Despite the recession we have been doing really well over the past two to three years," she said.
Before buying the Xeikon it had tested the market for short-run digitally produced labels by installing a Roland VersaUV LEC-540 printer/cutter.
The Xeikon’s QA-I toner offers food-safe qualities demanded by food manufacturing companies.
PeterLynn is holding an open day for trade customers on 28 November to show off the new equipment.
