This year's venue is the Oceana Nightclub and the party takes place tomorrow (24 May) from 9pm until 2am. Tickets cost £20 and are on sale from the organiser's office at room 18, outside Hall 18. The price covers snacks and four free drinks, while any one buying 10 tickets will get one free.
"The party is an opportunity for the industry to let its hair down," said Ipex marketing director Nick Craig Waller. "Ipex 2010 has been an incredibly successful show and the party represents an opportunity to keep the networking going, as well as having fun. We hope that this year's Ipex will provide the ignition the industry needs as the market has been through some really tough times."
The Oceana Nightclub is situated on Hurst Street, Birmingham, near the Hippodrome and the Arcadian Centre. The venue says it aims to take partygoers on a journey "around the world" and online reviews say that there is a variety of music to suit everyone, with different themed bars. Guests can choose from First Port, Villa Tahiti, Tokyo Wakyama bar or the Aspen Ski Lodge.
The venue boasts seven themed locations including five bars, three VIP lounges and two unique nightclubs.
The party is one of the most highprofile events of the show, attracting more than 2,000 partygoers from nearly every corner of the print and graphic arts industry. It is widely regarded as the highlight of the show for many exhibitors.
