The Norwegian-headquartered paper company will increase the price of its magazine papers in Europe by €35 (£31) per tonne on SC and CMR magazine paper grades. This will take effect as of 1 April.
A spokesman for the business said the increase was a result of pulp prices, which had increased "quite dramatically".
He said: "Pulp is the driver on the cost side; it generally needs to be at a more sustainable level. Prices at the start of the year are too low to be sustainable."
Norske Skog will also reorganise its European sales organisation in order to simplify the sales office structure and increase its focus on frontline sales. This will consist of six regional sales hubs.
Senior vice president Jan Clasen said: "The European publication paper market is in rapid change and the need for continued strong local presence and high-quality technical sales support is more important than ever."
The spokesman said the restructure would lead to some redundancies, but no further information was available at this time.
He added: "The restructure is to increase our presence in the market, but also to focus on cost reduction."
Norske Skog manufactures lightweight, coated and uncoated newsprint and magazine paper.
Earlier this month, production at the company's Bio Bio mill in Chile halted following an 8.8-magnitude earthquake last month.
The business has said it will take "some time" to restart production.
