The company said that it is setting out to help printers find new ways to improve efficiency through automation and workflow.
On stand will be a fully automated Primera E140 operating with a Hiflex MIS demonstrating how the two can automate setup of the stitcher and send data back to the MIS creating accurate job costing, production reports and highlighting bottlenecks.
In addition, the Swiss finishing manufacturer will hand a US debut to its 3696 gathering machine and Orbit three-knife trimmer as well as its newly enhanced AmigoPUR perfect binder.
The 3696 can run at speeds of up to 12,000 cycles per hour, while the Orbit can trim up to 80mm at speeds of up to 7,200cph, with makeready times of less than three minute, the company said.
A spokeswoman for Muller Martini said: The keys for success going forward will be automated makereadies, integrated workflows and production information that will allow printers to become more efficient.
We have a positive outlook for the show. As we come out of the recession now is the time to look at the changes in our industry and what equipment investments will be needed to meet the requirements of the print market.
Print 09 is due to take place on 11-16 September, in Chicago, US.
