The software comprises four elements. The Connex.Info module gives the user an overview of the print set-up, the production lines running through it and the status of current jobs.
Connex.Edit enables a user to create and edit print jobs, even if they do not have any other MIS or prepress software in place.
Connex.Plan organises and schedules print jobs, either manually or automatically, while Connex.Prod sends the JDF file through the system and gathers operational data for analysis and to provide an audit trail.
Connex.Link hooks the software into older Muller Martini systems, as well as third party equipment.
The system is compatible with all major MIS systems that conform to CIP4 standards.
