Andy Patrick, the current president and chief executive officer of liveBooks – a website that allows creative professionals to promote and manage their businesses online – is the board's newest addition.

Patrick is also the founder and executive director of photography organisation, the FiftyCrows Foundation, which aims to change perspectives through socially-driven images. 

Thomas O'Connor, chairman and chief executive officer of Mohawk, said: "Andy's knowledge of the needs of creative professionals and understanding of customer experiences will add an increased level of strategic planning to our product development as we continue to explore growth in non-traditional areas, particularly in the online realm."
