What did the job entail?
Mckenzie Clark created the branding for the International Leaders Sports Summit in three weeks, beginning installation two days prior to the show.
The £50,000 project included around 1,000sqm of signage including 15x20m entrance branding, all stage conference sets, way finding, Awards Dinner signage and production of six exhibition stands including McKenzie Clark’s own promotional area.
How was it produced?
Around 1,000sqm of signage was printed on non-PVC vinyl-Mactac JT5424RUV using Durst Lightfast UV curable pigment ink put through roll-to-roll Durst RHO 3200 and 800 flat bed machines.
What challenges were overcome?
Last minute changes to the exhibitors list meant that McKenzie Clark had to work to very tight deadlines to alter sets. One stage set needed to be turned around in six hours.
But McKenzie Clark director Ben Moss said: "We see it as a live event not a straight signage job and we are used to quick turnarounds anyway."
What was the feedback?
James Worrell, chief executive of Leaders which organised the show, said: "The end product was a comprehensive, premium graphic display which created a ‘wow’ factor outside, a contemporary, dynamic feel inside as well as a as a practical solution to explaining what was on at what time and in what place. The project management from start to finish was first class and the speed with which they adapted to challenges along the way resulted in a very happy client who, in turn, had very happy clients!"
