The 44in wide-format printer was bought by The Wimbledon Print Company to produce high-quality colour CAD prints.
“There is good business in large-format CAD for architects and building firm, but they have moved beyond mono work,” said Wimbledon Print managing director and owner Michael Woolsey (pictured right with M Partners Wide head of sales Gary Doman and Wimbledon Print’s Melissa Pasinios).
The iPF825 is equipped with a scanner so the firm can scan in existing drawings, plans and prints. The machine boasts a dye- and pigment-reactive pigment ink system and 15,360 nozzles, meaning images can be rendered at 2,400x1,200dpi.
