The new wide-format division of south London-based M Partners, which announced its intention to exhibit at Ipex last month, is to give a UK show debut to the new Canon imagePrograf iPF6400SE and imagePrograf iPF8400SE printers.
The six-colour devices are primarily targeted at the retail and hospitality inplant markets as well as commercial outfits looking to dip their toe into wide-format work.
The 609.6mm- (24in) wide iPF6400SE and the 1,117mm- (44in) wide iPF8400SE will feature on the firm’s 48sqm stand in the World of Wide Format zone at Ipex, which takes place from March 24 to 29.
M Partners Wide joint managing director Muray Lock said: “Having seen this model in action, we are already expecting a lot of interest in it. Wide-format printers just seem to continually improve, and the quality that can be produced on this device, considering the entry-level tag that Canon has given it, is amazing.
"Printers looking to invest in large-format for quality proofing, whilst also expanding their market with large-format point-of-sale production, can't go wrong with a first-time investment in the 6400SE,” he added.
M Partners Wide was launched November 2013 with the announcement of an exclusive distribution deal with South Korean manufacturer DGI.
This was followed in December with the signing of an agreement with Canon to sell range of imagePrograf devices.
