The Stoke-on-Trent-based graphics firm, which started off in screen printing 20 years ago before embracing digital wide-format a decade later, said that the speed of the machine, its roll-to-roll unit and ability to print directly onto flexible services were key factors that contributed to its decision to buy the machine.
Speed was a crucial factor for Logoshack, according to managing director Phil Davies. He said: "It is extremely important to us, as much of our work is time-critical and we’re printing multiple jobs."
The Acuity Advance HD2565W is a flatbed printer capable of combining near-photographic print quality with high-productivity, with a roll-to-roll option. The printer has a white ink option and can print on a wide range of rigid and flexible materials, such as wood, metal and plastics.
The Fujifilm machine complements an existing superwide format machine in Logoshack’s press room.
"We’ve been delighted with Fujifilm’s service throughout," Davies added. "From the early stages when we tested the product in the showroom, through to an on-site inspection of our facilities and the final installation of the printer, the service team provided excellent support."
