The display, which will debut at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2008 in Las Vegas, is the size of an A4 sheet of paper and offers a resolution of 1,280x800 pixels.
The screen can display up to 16.7 million colours and uses metal foil and plastic substrates, rather than glass. This is said to make the display bendable and durable, while maintaining superior display quality.
The substrate arranges thin-film transistors (TFT) on the metal foil, which enables the display to recover its original shape after being bent.
In addition, it can be viewed from 180 degrees, so the images appear clear even when the display is bent.
The show will take place at the Las Vegas Convention Center on 7-10 January.
