Las Vegas Color Graphics expands into Midwest

Las Vegas Color Graphics (LVCG) has expanded into the US Midwest, as it looks to leverage its expertise in managing and running print based loyalty programs in Las Vegas to target the growing number of casinos and resorts.

Vice president of sales Nick Kennedy told PrintWeek the company will initially only have sales staff in the Midwest, but added that it could eventually add a production facility if the business is there. "Currently with the production facility we have in Vegas we can certainly handle all of North America," he said.

Kennedy added that LVCG is already generating strong early interest among Midwest casinos, largely due to the company’s "34-year track record" in the gambling arena serving heavyweight such as Bally’s, MGM and Caesar’s Palace.

He said: "Most of what we do is focused on resorts and casinos, very specifically on their loyalty programs, including direct mail and variable data printing and handling all their data."

LVCG has an HP 5000 and 7000 for short-run color work and recently installed an iGen 4, but one of its main selling points is its Verified software system that streamlines the data processing steps involved in generating variable data mail campaigns.

As a general commercial printer, Kennedy also said that LVCG can offer a variety of other print, including catalog and static print production, with the company goal to become a one-stop shop for all casino printing needs. Recently it added an Océ’ Arizona 250 GT for large-format work such as event graphics, point-of-purchase displays, reflective rigid displays, transit advertising, and more.
