The company, based in Irvine, Ayrshire, opted for the digital machine to complement its existing equipment, including a Heidelberg press and an Epson 10000CF wide-format printer.
Graeme Ferguson, account manager at Kestrel Press, said the Konica Minolta provides "the perfect fit" alongside its other equipment.
He added: "In particular, it will further improve the quality of our existing short-run colour work.
"We aim to grow our service to existing direct mail clients and we now offer the complete added-value service of print, fulfilment and distribution."
