The Jetrix 1212FK is a compact 1.2m x 1.2m flatbed printer aimed at small print shops with limited space. An optional 1.2m extension table enables a maximum sheet size of 1.2m x 2.4m.
Like the larger models in the range, the Jetrix 1212 uses Konica Minolta 1024 print heads, which have a maximum print resolution of 1,440dpi and are capable of printing up to 26sqm/hr.
The printer also features a multi-layer print function, which InkTec said would allow printers to schedule print jobs in layers rather than having to do multiple passes.
InkTec also highlighted the wide-format device's ability to print on many varied substrates, including glass, acrylic and metal, without the need for a primer, thanks to its proprietary Jetrix UV ink.
This also allows the device to print on to flexible substrates, like polypropylene, which can then be folded without any cracking. All Jetrix printers are compatible with Onyx and Caldera RIPs.
