The 90ppm machine, which is based on the C900, has the ability to handle both Adobe PDF and Postscript pages, as well as the PPML datastream language.
It also offers a JDF-based job ticket feature that allows the user to produce complete PostScript or PDF documents. The operator can also choose finishing options that include ring-binding, perfect binding and bookletmaking.
Rick Carver, worldwide product marketing manager at InfoPrint, said the new press could help "lower production costs and reduce overall waste".
