The compact system, which can be integrated inline into any production workflow, is designed to automate the process of turning paper stacks in order to apply labels to a particular side.
It can process formats from 210x210mm up to 250x350mm and stack heights of 105-200mm without any setup time and runs at speeds of up to 700 stacks per hour.
IFS joint managing director Bryan Godwyn said: "High volume perfect binders and saddlestitchers can produce heavy paper stacks that require turning for processes such as sticking labels on the front or back.
"Manual handling is time consuming and labour intensive and can put a strain on employees; the Dürselen DS.02 turning unit completes this operation inline."
Pricing for the DS.02 will be around £20,750. Visitors to the IFS stand will also be able to see demonstrations of the Dürselen PB16 D paper drill, which offers stepless stroke and speed control as well as drill bit cooling and lubrication.
