I swear by my... Presstek 34DI press

<b>Andy Pearson, joint owner, Rich Print:</b>

When we discovered how much our customers were spending on four-colour printing we realised that it was worth investing in new machinery.

It was a big investment for us, but on reflection it was the best business decision we have ever made, as the kit’s already running on a double-day shift.

The DI digital offset press offers automation, quality and speed of turnaround levels ideal for a company of our size. Everything is done in one pass.

Although typical run lengths for four-colour process jobs are between 500 and 1000 copies, we are printing work from 50 to 40,000 copies on the press.

Customers know they can come to us with last-minute jobs and we can turn them around in a short time. It’s not unusual to get a job in the afternoon and have to print and finish it for collection early the next morning.
