Like its horizontally configured counterpart, the baling press is designed to enable more efficient and cost-effective recycling of cardboard, paper, foil and, depending on the press model, bottles, stiff plastics, car tyres and textiles.

"Many recycling companies pay more for compressed bales," explained business development manager Alexander Afiyan. "Also, bales are easier to transport than loose materials and so can reduce transportation costs. This is a good investment for companies in the long run."
