The machines, which compress waste materials into sorted and transportable bales, are the first HSM machines that have an inclination-monitoring system for the press ram, known as the Torsion Control System.
The kit can be used for processing, reducing and recycling waste material, and, according to Germany-based HSM, it can significantly cut costs by recycling leftover materials, such as offcuts, trim waste and excess plastic.
HSM, which employs around 600 staff, will showcase its VK 2310 channel-baling press and its ProfiPack 425 cardboard shredder at the Post Press & Finishing Systems section of the Ipex show.
Ipex 2010 is due to take place in Birmingham between 18-25 May at the city's NEC.
