The companysigned a deal for the B3 machine at the recent Printers Superstore’s two-day open house, which took place on 28-29 June.
Mark Hollinger, managing director at Hollinger Print, said: "The company decided on the requirement for a multicolour B3 press as part of ambitious plans to grow the business over the next couple of years, which means both gaining new work and better serving our existing customers."
The eight-staff company is using the new press to replace two outgoing Shinohara machines. The latest Hans Gronhi will complement an existing two-colour Heidelberg Printmaster, a single-colour Shinohara and Xerox digital equipment.
According to Hollinger, the business analysed several options before committing to the new press.
He said: "The Hans Gronhi machine was by far the best deal on paper, so I sent my engineer to make a report.
"He returned with a very positive verdict on the build quality, and said the whole package from the technology to the standard of output was excellent. It was clear that this machine has everything its competitors have, except the price tag."
The company now plans to broaden its client base and boosts sales further in 2011.
