The all-day event will give visitors the opportunity to see fully integrated Versafire digital presses in action together with Heidelberg’s Prinect workflow, according to head of Prinect at Heidelberg NE cluster Jacob Hededam.
“Prinect offers all necessary imposing, composing, preflighting, colour management and workflow server functions in one package of product and workflow automation,” he said.
The day will see presentations by Hededam and digital equipment business manager Chris Matthews. As well as the Versafires, Heidelberg will also be demonstrating two Speedmasters, an XL 75 and a CS 92 with LED UV, to demonstrate colour control across both litho and digital technologies and show how litho and digital can be used in parallel.
The manufacturer will also present a range of its estimation and job administration tools, post-press equipment, and consumables products.
There will also be other suppliers present at the event. Among them, Morgana will offer a variety of digital finishing services while Vivid Laminating Technologies will demonstrate foiling applications created using Versafire toners.
Additionally, TheMagicTouch will present its heat transfer technology, while International Graphic Supplies will show its Titanium range of smart digital cutting systems.
The event will run from 10am to 5pm at Heidelberg's national showroom in Brentford on 14 November, with refreshments and lunch provided.
