The Essex-based company produced the 330 x 245mm issue which contrasts with the usual 290 x 215mm magazine but still costs £3.99. The extra space in the National Magazines-published title will be used to display spring fashion ranges.
Lucy Yeomans, editor of Harper's Bazaar, said: "At a time when everyone's thinking about cutting back and down-sizing, it's wonderful to be able to treat our readers to this super-luxe, super-sized March issue at no extra cost.
"It's the perfect showcase for this spring's exotic new fashions - the products leap off every page and the photography has never looked so beautiful."
Tess Macleod Smith, publishing director of Bazaar, said: "This month we're giving readers something extra-special. In these challenging times we continue to push the creative boundaries and deliver a magazine that showcases a wide-range of products to exquisite effect.
"With people feeling the doom and gloom of credit crunch Harper's Bazaar is an affordable luxury that provides stimulation and escapism for both the eye and mind."
According to figures by ABC, Harper's Bazaar has a circulation of 109,146.
