The Bristol-based business will undertake further tests to confirm the company is still running to optimum colour standards after originally attaining the standard in July 2010.
According to Hampton Printing production manager Dave Lawrence, Heidelberg's ISO 12647-2 certification has provided the business with a comprehensive calibration service.
He added: "It not only helped us to conform to ISO 12647-2 requirements but also improved our productivity and overall colour quality management procedures.
"The knowledge we have gained has been invaluable and the ongoing support and annual on-site visit provided assurance of ongoing compliance. The renewal of the Heidelberg ISO 12647-2 contract and certification was an easy decision to make."
Hampton Printing has a press setup that includes three B1 Heidelberg Speedmaster XL 105 machines, the most recent of which - a six-colour machine with a dedicated Anilox inline coater - arrived last March.
Hampton Printing sales director Mike Malpas said: "There are plenty of printers who talk the talk regarding colour but don’t actually produce it to real ISO 12647-2 standards, using LAB measurement.
"Heidelberg certification ensures we work consistently to the highest colour standards on a daily basis. We remain focused on delivering the highest quality to a client base that expects nothing less."
