According to Ipex 2010 marketing director Nick Craig Waller, votes have been flooding in but the Ipex Advisory Committee (IAC), which debates the nominations and selects the quarterly winners, is keen to receive as many nominations as possible.
Nominations can me made at www.ipex.org/champions and a winner will be selected by the IAC every quarter and posted in the Champions in Print gallery section of the website.
All 10 finalists will be invited to an awards gala reception, which will be held during Ipex 2010, with the overall winner being unveiled at the event.
The goal of Champions in Print is to celebrate the outstanding contribution to print made by any living individual across the world. Entries must be supported by a brief summary of the nominee's achievements.
"Our Champions in Print Awards offers a brilliant platform to acknowledge and celebrate the hard work, effort and time devoted by people in the industry world-wide," said Craig Waller.
"There are so many famous, as well as unsung heroes, within the industry and by keeping the competition as open as possible, we are hoping to have a mix of international personalities who will receive our prestigious award."
