The 65-staff company installed two new B2 XL 75-5+L machines little more than a year ago.
According to the Swindon-based firm, the B1 10-colour perfector will replace a four-year-old SM 102 that has produced around 200m impressions.
Managing director Anthony Thirlby said the new press will be capable of generating double the amount of sales of its predecessor for runs of between 4,000-4,500.
He added: "It gives us a cash-positive position from month one onwards, after taking into account capital repayments, our full service agreement, savings in overtime and also in overs during makeready".
The new XL will be configured with Inpress Control spectrophotometry and Autoplate XL, which Thirlby said should reduce waste to around 250 sheets and makeready times to under five minutes. It will also be configured with CleanStar to reduce spray powder dust.
Thirlby said the investment puts the £12.5m-turnover company on track for a turnover of £16.5m by 2012.
