Beta-testing will be settled after drupa and Epson plans to launch the machines commercially in September at an estimated price of €24,600 (£20,000) each.
The eight- and 10-colour SC-S70600 offers the widest colour range of the SureColor collection, including light magenta, light cyan, light black and orange in addition to standard CMYK.
It can produce a wide range of large-format prints from exhibition displays, textiles, backlit panels to vehicle wraps, wallpaper and labels.
Epson said the SC-S70600 beats competitors for speed, printing at a rate of 27.3m2 per hour in eight-colour high-speed mode and up to 4.1m2 per hour with metallic ink enabled.
The four- and five-colour SC-S50600 caters to the indoor and outdoor signage sector, particularly printers with a high throughput, printing at speeds of 50m2 per hour with twin thin-film piezo printheads that are also a feature of the SC-S70600. The additional built-in dryer cuts production time by ensuring prints are ready for the following stages.
The company said new jack systems on both machines mean only one person is needed to load a new media roll and the lever is accessible from the back and front of the machine.
Epson Europe product manager Richard Barrow said: "The range of SC-S series now caters for any requirement in the signage market.
"We already have the SC-S30600, which is the low-cost machine. Now, we have the SC-S50600, which is the higher-productivity printer and the SC-S70600, which is the creative version."
The new additions to the SC-S series widen Epson’s signage capabilities, joining the company’s SC-T series, which caters to proof and technical colour printing.
Barrow said the large-format SC-S and SC-T series complement Epson’s current SureLab photolab devices, catering to commercial print sectors, as well as the SurePress digital label printing range for the industrial market.
The SurePress L-4033A will also be shown at drupa with new white ink and upgraded drying units for increased productivity.
Barrow said: "The launch of these new machines is part of Epson moving towards taking a stronger global stance in the commercial and industrial print industry over the next few years."
