Demonstrations will be held on the company’s FL-350 press which is designed to print flexible packaging film and ticketing substrates.
Other equipment on display will include a Gamma scratch card line and an FDC-510 flatbed die-cutting machine, which is used for the cutting and creasing of packaging materials. The Gamma can be configured to include a number of different options including a screen printing unit, thermal inkjet and personalisation systems.
Edale said it will also exhibit five new machines, including three Beta modular presses and two Alpha compact flexo presses.
Fifteen suppliers have confirmed that they will exhibit at the event, including Alphasonics, API Foils, Creation Reprographics, Cheshire Engraving, Daco Solutions , EskoArtwork, Fiberweb, GEW, JM Heafords, IST, Rotometrics, Tesa Tapes, Vetaphone and Zeller & Gmelin.
Delegates will be invited to tour the company’s factory, showroom and offices and participate in live demos.
The open house has been timed to coincide with the opening of Edale’s fourth facility, which the company said was due to increased growth.
A spokesperson for Edale said: "We have always planned to expand but it has happened more quickly than we originally scheduled due to growth in our machine sales. We are taking on an adjoining unit to our original factory, which will be used for machine build and as an overflow to handle the excess machines going through production this year."
