SureTac is a 23mic clear polyester mounting film coated on both sides with a pressure-sensitive solvent acrylic adhesive.
According to the manufacturer, the product is highly versatile and bonds "extremely well" to a wide variety of substrates, making it suitable for applications including outdoor graphics, retail signage, and photography and picture framing.
Drytac Europe sales director Steve Broad said: “SureTac has been developed as a double-sided mount film for external use.
“It has a high tack, high peel-strength adhesive that is UV stable, water resistant and will adhere to most common surfaces used in the graphics industry.
“Drytac is renowned within the industry for making a stable water-based mount film for the indoor photographic market.
“We have now built on this expertise and developed a solution for the outdoor graphics market, offering our customers a great option for the often more challenging external graphics applications.”
Drytac’s films and adhesives are exclusively distributed throughout the UK and Ireland by Antalis.
At last month's Fespa event in Cologne, Germany, the business showed its new Spot-On film with dot adhesive as well as extensions to its ReTac peelable films range.
