The deal, which concluded on 10 September, involved Danwood acquiring Admiral's £15m print operations as well as its 80 staff.
Graham McMullen, founder and managing director of Admiral takes on a group director role at Danwood and said service and personal customer care will continue to be high on the agenda during the short transition period ahead.
He added: "We are all really looking forward to the new challenges ahead and being able to offer our customers a wider product portfolio and national coverage directly."
Admiral's supplier offering of Sharp, Canon and Konica Minolta machines will complement Danwood's portfolio for the graphics art and office sectors, which is on course for a £225m turnover this financial year.
Colin Daniels, chairman and founder of Danwood, said: "I am delighted to welcome Graham McMullen and his teams to the Danwood organisation and very much look forward to working with them as we continue to develop our significant operations in the South and East of the UK.
"Admiral is an extremely well run business with an enviable reputation and customer base and as the operations are integrated in the coming months, I am sure that the broader services and geographic coverage that Danwood can offer will be of interest and value."
