The printer, which prints supplements for a number of national newspapers, has been one of the main beneficiaries of the expenses scandal with run lengths for The Daily Telegraph soaring during the scandal, as well as the one-off run of the special supplement, The Complete Expenses File.
It has been reported that run lengths of the Saturday edition were up 120,000 – 150,000 above the standard circulation of about 800,000.
Polestar Sheffield account director Jeff White said: "Telegraph Media Group kept this supplement a closely guarded secret and only notified us of their intention to publish the title with a lead time of two days.
"We were of course delighted to be able to help. The plant is full, but we still managed to convert 230 tonnes of paper and deliver on the title on time."
The Daily Telegraph is printed by Newsprinters, with Polestar Sheffield handling many of the supplements.
