The machine, which is driven by Apogee workflow, images environmentally- friendly Agfa Amigo TS plates for its Heidelberg press setup.
Investing in the Agfa platesetter has enabled the printer, part of the £8.9m-turnover Creative i Solutions Group, to bring plate production in-house and cut turnaround times.
Creative Printer has forged a partnership with Kent-based reprohouse Willowsfocus whereby the latter handles pre-press file production for Creative, which outputs around 1,200 plates each month.
According to the business, customers can collect a job as soon as eight hours after files were originally sent when opting for its same-day service.
Dan Thompson, director of Creative i Solutions, said: "Jobs are planned up to print with very little waste paper between each item and Willowsfocus understands what I am looking for.
"They have a good working relationship with Agfa and it made sense for us to have a similar prepress system including their Apogee workflow. Agfa has been great, the system is very easy to use, the installation was problem free and support is fantastic."
Creative Printer offers a range of stationery, brochure and poster printing. It produces work for a client base that includes Tesco, the City of London and Tower Hamlets Council.
