The new management team includes Andrews, sales director Gordon Leer and finance director Jo Carter, who collectively have taken over ownership of the business from founder Elwyn Jones.
Andrews has been at the firm for 23 years and owned a 10% stake before the MBO saw the remaining 90% acquired by the management.
The Helston, Cornwall-based firm, which employs seven people and counts mail order and ecommerce brands including Boots, Boden and The Body Shop among its clients, turns over around £2m a year.
The company, which started in 1981 as a supplier of computer and business stationery, supplies mail order and ecommerce firms with integrated label forms used in customer transactions, as well as providing an array of corporate and public sector clients with business forms and specialised print.
Andrews told PrintWeek that the aim was to grow the business’s client base through "one-to-one contract sales". As part of its strategy, earlier this year the firm modernised its corporate identity and created a transactional website.
Andrews added that the firm’s customer retention rate is very strong. For instance, Forms Plus has been working with mail order clothing retailer Boden since the latter started using integrated forms in its transactions.
"We are really excited to be taking the business on," she said. "Our management team has a combined service of over forty years with the company, so although there won’t be much of a difference day-to-day, we have some great ideas for our products and services and we’re looking forward to driving the business on into the future."
