The company provides document and content processing software, including its flagship DocBridge automation and workflow platform, for businesses such as banks and insurance firms as well as large transactional printers. It set up a UK presence three years ago but has not exhibited here before.
“We have done Hunkeler and various others in Europe but we have never done a UK show. It fits our marketing strategy and we’ve seen some of the big names that will be there,” explained business development manager for UK, Ireland and the Nordics, Gary Garjcarek.
“We thought about it for quite a while and because the marketplace for us is very outsourced there are a lot of printers out there who are actually our customers, so we decided to give it a go,” he added.
Garjcarek said that since opening here three years ago the business, which previously only sold through its OEM partners, had gained some very large customers “including four of the top five print service providers in the UK”.
He added that Compart would use the show to raise awareness of the company name and to focus on innovation in the marketplace and how its products could help print businesses.
“We are maybe more focused on transactional printing, but there is now a grey area between graphical and transactional," he said.
"We are very much about multi-channel, database driven output management and we want to let people know what solutions we can provide. We’ll be focusing on around 10 or 12 key areas including things like internet workflows and quality assurance testing.
