The 64in entry-level, mild-solvent inkjet printer will be showcased at the event before distribution to the UK begins this June.
The ColorPainter V-64S can output at speeds up to 16sqm an hour and is being pitched at digital printers producing display graphics.
It can print at resolutions up to 720x720dpi and features a new EG-Outdoor EX mild-solvent ink set, which is claimed to have be low-odour, with exceptional colour, and overall outdoor lightfastness.
Jeff Biggs, managing director at Colourgen, which will distribute the Seiko machine in the UK, said the show offered the perfect opportunity to debut the new machine.
He said: "We anticipate the price positioning will make it an excellent entry point for companies moving into the digital inkjet and the outdoor printing market.
"Signmakers in particular will benefit from the printers’ capability, flexibility and ease of use in order to capitalise on an area of the market that may have until now been unavailable to them."
