The investment in the wide-format machine comes six months after the business, which produces work for retail and department stores, installed the UK's first 550 GT model.
The 31-staff company opted for a second Arizona model to cope with growing demand and as part of a migration from roll-fed to direct-to-media printing.
Tony Dennington, managing director at Colouration, said: "Just a few months ago we were using five roll-fed machines to service our clients in the high-quality visual display marketplace.
"Since then we’ve replaced three of them with two Arizona 550 GTs, which enable us to print directly onto a range of both flexible and rigid materials."
Colouration's Océ Arizona 550 GT machines can print at resolu1tions of 1,440dpi and at speeds of up to 40.2sqm an hour.
It also features an express print mode that can output up to 67sqm an hour, which is nearly treble the productivity of the highest speed on the Océ's Arizona 350 GT.
Colouration also runs two Ryobi presses, plus Konica Minolta digital and HP roll-to-roll wide-format equipment
