The firm, which was spun out of pre-media business Fresh Media Group in 2011, has secured $6.2m (£3.7m) in funding from a trio of investors: Sigma Prime Ventures, Starvest Partners, and Greycroft Partners which had already participated in Ceros’ first round of funding.
Chief executive Simon Berg said that customer adoption of its system thus far proved that the market was ready for change, and described the digital creative process as “crying out for innovation and disruption”.
“I can’t wait to show the world what’s next, especially now we have the backing to crank things up a few notches!” he stated.
Ceros has offices in London and New York, and employs 37 staff. As well as the sales and marketing drive, the fresh funding will be used to push forward with technology developments.
The firm provides software tools that allow its clients to create interactive content, such as web pages, brochures and magazines that can be published across multiple sites and devices without the need to employ costly web developers.
Its customers include B&Q, Monsoon, Mini and Peugeot.
The company's turnover is undisclosed, but Berg said Ceros was on course to triple sales this year.
