At 54sqm, the manufacturer is taking the biggest stand size available.
“We recognise the importance of trade shows to talk to our customers and discuss the key trends that are impacting and shaping their businesses, and to inspire them with new ideas that can help drive their businesses forward,” said Adam Poole, Canon UK B2B marketing director.
“The readership and reach of PrintWeek is to the heart of our customer base and we expect the buzz of the new show will help us further reinforce our credentials to existing users as well starting new conversations with new customers.”
The firm will use its stand to show a wide range of applications, from its specialist, industrial and 3D portfolios. It will also demonstrate machines from its colour imagePress and mono Océ VarioPrint sheetfed production portfolios and imagePrograf and Océ ColorWave wide-format ranges, which will be shown running live in a full production workflow from e-commerce and origination to finished products.
Canon will also have product experts on hand during the two days of the show to discuss its range of flatbed wide-format and production inkjet technologies as well as business growth experts from its Essential Business Builder Program.
According to Poole, it will also use the event to reveal more information about its “revolutionary UVgel technology” for wide-format roll-to-roll applications, which was first announced in September.
The company is currently finalising the content of its workshop session, but Poole said he was confident it would tie in with the ‘Inspire, Innovate, Transform’ messaging that was part of its #unleashprint campaign at Drupa earlier this year.
“We’re working on the content, but it will be around key strategies to drive businesses forward in print and using the right technology and a collaborative approach to support growth.
“We’ve worked successfully with print service providers for many years and in 2017 we’re looking to further develop partnerships in this space by showing the full breadth of what we can offer to existing customers as well as inspiring and educating those that we haven’t yet had the opportunity to work with.”
PrintWeekLive! takes place on the 8/9 March at the Wasps Arena, Coventry and features a conference, workshops and technology focused show floor.
