Scott was speaking at the Label Forum Japan show, which was co-organised by Labelexpo, to industry figures about the work the Rhyl, Wales-based printer carries out for car manufacturer Toyota.
The Toyota work centres on car parts packaging products that feature variable data labels, which include numerous number, barcode and text fields that are also laminated in-line.
The label project, devised by Toyota Manufacturing UK (TMUK), was created to identify the packaging and tracking involved with its motor parts.
According to Scott, the event also gave him the opportunity to discuss the other elements of personalised digital print the 12-staff business carries out for global brands.
He said: "Our customer base extends to thousands. Many are small artisan specialists and others are major companies like Toyota.
"We have experienced profitable growth year-on-year and are now in our sixth year of business, which will see sales increase from last year’s £1.1m."
Early last year, the printer invested in the UK's first Xeikon 3300 digital press in a bid to boost its digital print capacity and drive its web-to-print system.
