The £6m-turnover group has also installed a Xerox 1000 colour press and a Horizon PUR binder as part of its equipment upgrade, which was financed by HSBC.
The Komori press was a replacement for two older Heidelberg Speedmasters.
Managing director Jim Gilmour said: "Our old Speedmasters were about 13 years old and there were cost implications for maintaining the old machines. We decided that, in order to replace two B2 Heidelberg Speedmasters with a single press, we needed to find a new machine with as much automation and the latest technology as possible."
The new Komori press, which cost around £750,000, runs alongside its ten colour Rapida 105, which was installed three years ago.
Bluepoint Cambridge, which acquired Burlington Press in 2009, has litho and digital divisions as well as a web-to-print service, called B-line x-marketing, and Maxim Exhibition and Display, which focuses mainly on wide-format printing
In April the group consolidated its litho operations at the old Burlington site at Foxton, near Cambridge.
