The new division will be headed up by Hicksville founder Rennie Mitchell, and brings a client base that includes Sony Pictures, Paramount, Disney, Universal and Warner Music.
According to Trevor O’Reilly, chief executive at Bezier, the company's existing entertainment clients will have direct access to the Hicksville’s "unparalleled creative approach".
"We are delighted that Hicksville are joining us and confident that the acquisition will allow us to deliver great service to our clients," he added.
Hicksville has previously scooped two British Video Association Awards in 2010 and carried out animation work for films such as Terminator Salvation.
