Giffin Graphics will sell Benford UV’s full range of UV, IR and hot air drying systems as well as lamps and spares for all makes of drying system.
Giffin Graphics also has its own established network of service engineers, which was important to Benford UV to provide the highest standard to their customers in the area.
The agent will supply Benford UV’s products into its existing geographical markets, which include the UAE, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
Benford UV sales and marketing's Ron Ryan said: "We have got a few customers in the UAE but we recognise the potential out there. The way to really exploit that is to set up someone in the area who is happy with our products and had contacts there.
"Because we are a relatively small company, we needed to think smart – you can’t do it all yourself. This is what agency is all about, you use other people’s strengths to develop the business."
Benford UV managing director Mark Boden was making regular trips out to the UAE to visit the Buckinghamshire company’s customers but on his most recent trip, decided to seek out a dedicated agent in the Gulf region and signed the ongoing agency contract with Giffin Graphics at the end of September.

Benford UV recently took on MGE Graphics Systems India as its distributor for India following negotiations at Drupa in May.
