The Azon Rotax can be plugged on to the manufacturer's Razor printer for use on cylindrical objects with diameters that range from 41mm to 127mm and on objects up to 279mm high.
“With the new rotary adapter it is possible to print more varied print applications,” said Azonprinter sales and marketing manager Žaklina Begic, based in Zagreb, Croatia.
“Users can print on cylindrical and cone objects such as beer and wine glasses, cups, candles, tubes, cans, tanks and vases. Rival kit cannot print on objects of such large sizes.
“Rotax makes cylindrical printing efficient and precise and the main feature of the machine is the simplicity of putting it on and taking it off the printer without losing the quality of the print.”
Begic added that it took only two minutes to “plug and play”, with the Rotax system designed to be fitted by the user.
She would not disclose the cost of the Rotax, which can be used on the Azon Razor printer, but said it was available in UK through the Azon sales department.
The Azon inkjet printer runs LED UV inks on materials ranging from glass, metal, stone, wood and plastics and corrugated cardboard.
“The new rotary adapter makes it possible to print more varied print applications and delivers both white and full colour prints,” said Begic.
“We launched this adaptor because we wanted new features that improved the technical characteristics of our machines and to make them more competitive in digital printing.”
