According to the Croatian manufacturer, the new model has been created in response to customer feedback and broadens the range of applications Azon’s DTS platforms can be used to produce.
The €14,500 machine, which complements the existing DTS model, uses a specially developed gelatine-based ink and can print a full-colour A2 print (420x600mm) in 11 minutes at resolutions of up to 2,880dpi.
Vlatko Goljevacki, marketing manager at Azon, said the addition of a white under-coat will allow customers to print full-colour, photo-quality on a range of substrates including wood, glass, metal and plastic.
Azon is also showcasing its TexPro direct-to-garment printer at Fespa. The machine can print on 90% of textiles with the ability to produce up to 50 light material or 15 dark material T-shirts an hour.
