According to the developer, the plug-in provides "unprecedented" output standardisation and control for workflows that handle Illustrator documents.
Its integration with with Enfocus Switch, its workflow automation tool which is used across industries such as advertising and the legal sector, is pitched at clients in publishing and packaging.
Axaio claims that MadeToPrint Illustrator for Switch helps eliminate output flaws and misprints by enhancing and streamlining the printing and output processes, all from within the layout application.
Other new features include the ability to preflight documents by checking and updating them for missing links or fonts and individual layer handling.
The latest version of MadeToPrint Illustrator is available now, as well as a 30-day trial version available from Axaio's website. The software is available for € 4,490 (£3,617).
