The company's gold award-winning entry from Category 6B (for multicolour fine art reproduction) of a photographer’s work, which included quad-tone, black-and-white reproductions, as well as its use of gold inks, wowed the judges.
Runner-up was Russian company Midi Print’s Meryline – a calendar featuring images of Marilyn Monroe that sympathetically used an astonishing range of screen printing effects on a range substrates, highlighting the creative possibilities of the process.
Other runners-up included Studio Reya, of Russia, for its gold-winning entry in category 5B (original serigraphies and paintings), Swiss firm Europtec for its winning entry in category 13A (glass and ceramics) and Atelier Für Siebdruck again, with its winning entry from category 4B (posters, single/multi-colour).
