The Nottingham-based company, which distributes consumables for large-format printing, said many manufacturers are looking at environmental policies as further indication of an ability to do business.
The £19m-turnover business has just become FSC and PEFC accredited and has additional plans to become ISO 14001 certified and EMAS certified.
Simon Cooksey, new product introduction and environment manager, said: "We operate in a marketplace that is facing increasing demand from both the public sector and major global brands to demonstrate green credentials.
"Green credentials will become a licence to trade, and companies should adopt and change and become part of the force driving the change, or be prepared to be locked out."
