The paper merchant's Sign and Display division said the product, which is an alternative to the polystyrene or rigid polyurethane foam centred display boards, can now offer litho printers faster and better quality print.
Chris Green, market manager for Antalis McNaughton, said: "This product retains good rigidity and printability. With the launch of the 1,200micron version, it is now ideal for use on a litho press."
He added that the product is also unique in its category because it is fully recyclable and biodegradable, which means it can be fully recycled along with standard paper and board waste.
Antacote Lite was developed by Antalis McNaughton in conjunction with Germany's KATZ Group in November last year.
